Perhaps when the medium to record dreams is invented I can finally contribute something interesting to this awfully dull world, for what handsome ideas can squeeze through the narrow gap between the drilling hum of sleep deprivation and the buzz of caffeine mania, out into the waking world these days? None. I'm in a drought.
But i suppose it’s preposterous of me to assume my dreams are more interesting than anyone elses. Sleep makes talented and subtly wise storytellers of all.

Though savagely torn from sleep each morning by no choice of it's own, the mind isn’t exactly welcomed back into waking world, but punished as if it has done something wrong. As if it's trespassing. I don’t need early morning lethargy to remind me I don’t belong here.

Sleep isn't something, a condition, which comes over you. It's the sudden appearance of a hole in a cage, letting the bird out - but damn it if that masochistic animal doesn't always find its way back in by the morning.
